KILI FAIR 2015

This was the first time of the KILI fair (Kilimanjaro tourism and industrial Fair) exhibition  which was held in Kilimanjaro region from 5th to 7th of June 2015 where by the shareholders and stakeholders were exhibiting their products so as to market and promote their tourism products and services to the globe. This was similar to the Karibu Tourism Trade Fair of that was held in Arusha,  Our coordinator Mr. Modesto Winfred got a chance to visit in two of the three days for the aim of learning how in and out door marketing and promotions are basically done then had an opportunity to market the Uyole cultural tourism enterprises (UCTE) at the same time through interaction with different shareholders and stakeholders.




The coordinator got an opportunity to visit Rau Eco and Cultural Tourism Enterprise where he saw different kind of products listed in their package especially from the Rau forest and rice plantations and other cultural products Such as Yams, Air potatoes from the forest, Rice and the traditional ways of planting then cultural Nyungo as they were portrayed at their table.




A visit to Africa Amini Life tent, our coordinator had an opportunity to see how the Maasai culture is presented through the traditional way in the lodge (Afro European style)The lodges Rooms has been decorated in a traditional way and the way used to present their traditional packages.




The Weruweru lodge Tent Here there was  presentation of the Chagga people from their lorge, the weruweru people offers the traditional packages such as a traditional coffee plantation around the lodge and other traditional activities.



Avisit to ZARA tent, Zara is a tour company found in Nothern Zone of Tanzania which offers different tourists packages such as visiting different tourism attractions like mount Kilimanjaro, ngorongoro and others where They had a unique presentation on emphasizing people to climb mount Kilimanjaro.


Also there was The hericopter which was presented to show how there is some advancement of different tourism packages which are mostly offered to facilitate accessibility and Eco tourism.
